e Reasoning are a rock band from Cardiff, formed in August 2005 by Bass Guitarist Matthew Cohen. Along with Matthew, the band initially consisted of Dylan Thompson - vocals/guitar, Gareth Jones - vocals/keyboards, Lee Wright - guitars, Vinden Wylde - drums and award-winning singer Rachel Cohen (married to Matthew Cohen, her maiden name was Rachel Jones on vocals/percussion), who previously fronted Karnataka, and has won the title of Best Female Singer in the annual Classic Rock Society awards for an unprecedented four consecutive years.
