Charlotte Symphony
The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra is an American orchestra based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 1932 by Spanish conductor and composer Guillermo S. de Roxlo leading 15 musicians. The Charlotte Symphony plays approximately 100 performances each season and employs 100 professional musicians, 62 of whom are on full-time contracts. In 2007, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra released its first compact disc, a collection of orchestral masterworks by Beethoven, Schubert, Mahler, and Mozart.
